Xenia Station in Winter: Local History & Holiday Cheer
🚂 Day 2 of 25: Exploring Xenia Station, The Heart of Our Community 🚂
Happy December, Xenia friends! Welcome back to Day 2 of our 25 Days of Xenia Christmas Countdown!
Today, we're focusing on a landmark that truly acts as the beating heart of our city: the Xenia Station.
While many know it as the famous junction point for the beautiful Greene County bike trails, the Xenia Station is so much more—it’s a central gathering spot that perfectly ties our past railroad heritage to our vibrant present.
During the winter and holiday season, the Station's architecture and open space provide a nostalgic and picturesque setting. Whether you’re stopping by for a community event like "Santa at the Station" (always a huge hit!) or just taking a crisp, quiet walk along the trail, the area always feels infused with local history and holiday cheer. It's a reminder of Xenia's enduring spirit and ability to repurpose and celebrate its landmarks.
Finding great gathering spots like the Xenia Station is one of the many reasons I love helping people find their perfect home base here in Greene County.
Let's get festive!
Tell me: Where do you think is the absolute most festive spot in all of Xenia? Is it the Station, a particular street, or maybe a park you love? Share your answer below!
Join me tomorrow for Day 3 when we support local businesses with a fun gift spotlight!
