This all-in-one meal is perfect for home-selling families who need something filling, low-odor and cleanup-friendly. Everything cooks in one pot, and you don’t even need to precook the rice. Just dump, cook and serve.

Ingredients

  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 cup long-grain white rice (uncooked)

  • 1½ cups low-sodium chicken broth

  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots

  • 1 can cream of chicken soup

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Optional: shredded cheddar for topping

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in slow cooker.

  2. In a bowl, mix chicken broth, soup, rice, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Pour over chicken.

  3. Top with frozen vegetables.

  4. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until chicken is cooked and rice is tender.

  5. Shred chicken, stir to combine, and sprinkle with cheese if using.
