Need a meal that looks like you spent hours on it but won’t ruin your clean kitchen before a house showing? This slow cooker pulled pork is the answer. Just toss in a few ingredients in the morning, and by dinnertime, you’ll have tender, flavorful pork ready for sandwiches, wraps or bowls.
Ingredients

3 to 4 pounds pork shoulder or pork butt

1 cup BBQ sauce (choose a low-smoke or mild variety)

½ cup chicken broth or water

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: coleslaw, pickles, buns or tortillas for serving
Instructions

Place pork shoulder in slow cooker. Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt and pepper.

Add BBQ sauce, broth and brown sugar over the pork.

Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until pork is tender and shreds easily.

Shred pork with two forks directly in the cooker. Stir into the juices.

Serve on buns with slaw or your favorite toppings.
